Today I watched a woman drop a spoon (which is the only given utensil at the meal) on the floor, pick it up quick and look at me and say, “2 second rule”, and place it back on her tray as we waited in line for lunch at the yoga intensive in India. I then informed her that the 2 second rule may apply for your home country, but since she is not from India, the rule changes, it is now the .5 second rule, and she is not that fast. She laughed and thankfully got a clean spoon.
