It is absolutely amazing to watch men drink tea here. It’s so enjoyed. They sweeten it heavily. If you are with 3-4 people, just for an instance, the only sound you hear is soft clicking of spoons stirring the Chai. The only silence for a moment, then they bring cup to lips and sip a small portion of the sweetened potion, swirling it around their mouth, then swallow, and finally began whatever conversation they chose to bestow upon you.

Thunder and lightning loom above the Ganga. The rain is light and streets are scarcely full. Above Rishikesh, the foothills of the Himalaya’s are fogged in by cloud cover. The canopy of clouds and rain have the affect of a winters snowfall upon a busy city. A calmness creeps over the land and the setting sun joins the Himalaya’s disappearing into the horizon.
